The Lebanese authorities announced that they had counted 216 air raids by the Zionist entity during the past twenty-four hours on various areas of the country. The Coordinator of the government emergency committee and the Minister of Environment in the caretaker Lebanese government, Nasser Yassin, said that the death toll for yesterday, Saturday, reached 11 people, while the injuries reached 108, although many of the martyrs and wounded are still under the rubble of destroyed buildings. He added in a report by the "Disaster Risk Management Unit" on the current situation in Lebanon, that the number of shelters in public facilities has risen to 777 centers, including public schools, educational complexes, vocational institutes, and agricultural centers distributed in various governorates. The Ministry of Education has also added 120 new schools to receive the displaced in the last hours, and the capacity has reached its maximum in public educational institutions in Beirut and Mount Lebanon. He explained that the total number of martyrs since the confrontations on October 8th has reached 1640 martyrs, including 104 children, 194 women and 8408 wounded, while the number of displaced persons registered in the shelters approved by the National Operations Room has reached more than 116 thousand displaced persons so far. Lebanon is exposed to extensive Israeli attacks targeting various governorates and regions, especially villages and towns in the south, which has pushed the residents of the targeted areas into a large wave of displacement.
