The Office of Industry and Trade in Taiz province, in coordination with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, launched a campaign to monitor markets and control prices during the holy month of Ramadan. During the inauguration in the province center, Director of the Industry Office, Afif Al-Dhabhani, stressed the importance of the campaign in strengthening field control efforts on markets and arresting violators. He explained that the campaign aims to arrest price violators, prevent commercial fraud, and refer violators to the competent authorities to take legal measures against them. He also urged merchants to cooperate with the control teams to achieve stability in the province's markets. Meanwhile, the director of the branch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the province, Jamil Hayel, stressed the necessity of maintaining price stability and protecting the consumer from exploitation and fraud, especially during the consumer seasons for foodstuffs.
