Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said that "the Israeli aggression that targeted Lebanon this afternoon does not only amount to a massacre, but is a prescribed war crime." In a statement issued Tuesday evening, Berri called on the international community to take urgent action to curb the Israeli terror machine, noting that the continuation of this criminal behavior threatens the region and jeopardizes regional security and stability. Furthermore, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati traveled to the southern suburbs of Beirut to offer condolences on the death of the son of Hezbollah MP Ali Ammar. Mikati condemned the latest Israeli aggression and expressed his deep regret, saying in his speech: "Mercy for the martyrs, and prayers for a speedy recovery for the wounded. Today's incident is very serious." Source: Jordan News Agency
