Doha: The Ministry of Labour held a workshop for owners and representatives of hotel and hospitality businesses. This event is part of the Ministry's initiative to increase awareness about the services offered by its departments, aligning with the digital transformation strategy aimed at enhancing services in the labour sector. Hotel owners and hospitality company representatives had the opportunity to inquire about new services from various departments. Additionally, the Ministry of Labour, in collaboration with Mezza Company, organized a training course titled "Introductory to Oracle System" for job seekers who are graduates of information technology. The purpose is to develop the skills of the national workforce in the IT sector and help them keep up with the ongoing changes in this vital field and the job market. The organization of this training course is part of the Ministry of Labour's efforts to increase the effective participation of the national workforce in private sector establishments and to q ualify and develop the skills of job seekers, enabling them to secure positions in major companies across various economic sectors. The two-day workshop covered multiple educational tracks in the IT sector, including cybersecurity, networking, IT infrastructure, information security, and cloud computing. Source: Qatar News Agency
