Kurdish Security Monitors Movements Of ISIS Elements On The Border Separating Diyala And Kurdistan

The Kurdish security forces monitored movements of ISIS detachments on the border between Diyala and the Kurdistan region.

A security source said that security surveillance and monitoring cameras monitored movements of ISIS detachments and their movement between villages north of Jalawla and border villages on the outskirts of Khanaqin, northeast of Baquba.

He pointed out that there are terrorist elements within mobile detachments moving individually between the areas of the villages north of Jalawla and the outskirts of Khanaqin to avoid air strikes. Pointing out that some ISIS elements and pockets are located 4 km away on the outskirts of Koleh Jo district of Kalar district.

It is noteworthy that the Peshmerga forces are stationed in the common areas between Khanaqin and the outskirts of the Kalar district of the Kurdistan Region.
