Sana'a - Saba : The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli-American aggression's raids on civilian objects and facilities in Al-Hodeida province. In a statement, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights expressed its disapproval of the Zionist-US aggression's targeting of ports and power plants, which are civilian , economic facilities and citizens' houses in Al-Hodeida port, Ras Issa, Al-Hali and Ras Katnib power plants, and the resulting deaths, injuries, and significant material damage to public and private facilities. It considered the targeting of civilian facilities related to food and energy supplies by the enemy entity, with US and British support, as a collective crime against the Yemenis , a clear violation of international humanitarian law and its rules that stipulate the preservation of civilian lives , the maintenance of civilian property and facilities. The statement called on the United Nations and human rights organizations to break their silence a nd condemn the enemy's direct killing and destruction of civilian facilities, denouncing the continued silence of the Security Council towards the US, British and Zionist attacks on a sovereign country without any expression, denunciation, condemnation or steps to stop what those countries are doing. He pointed out that this UN silence represents a violation of the most important duties of the Security Council stemming from the purposes of the United Nations to maintain international peace and security, pointing out that this crime and previous crimes came to dissuade Yemen from its position in supporting the Palestinians against the crimes, genocide, and war crimes against humanity practiced against them by the Zionist enemy entity with US and British support. While condemning these crimes against the Yemeni, Palestinian and Lebanese people, the statement emphasized that the criminal Zionist aggression cannot affect the will of the Yemenis, nor will it prevent the aggressed Yemen from its right to continue responding to any aggression by any country or coalition using all means that guarantee its basic and legitimate rights.
