AMMAN: Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi has condemned the recent Israeli attack on a humanitarian convoy operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in Gaza, labeling it a war crime, according to the Jordan News Agency (Petra). In a statement on X on Monday, Safadi declared, "Gaza has not only become a graveyard for children. It has become a graveyard for Int'l law, a shameful stain on whole Int'l order." Safadi underscored the critical importance of safeguarding UNRWA, other humanitarian agencies, and their personnel from the Israeli occupation forces and their acts of aggression. The condemnation follows an incident on Sunday in which Israeli occupation forces opened heavy fire on an UNRWA convoy en route to Gaza City. Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA
