Baghdad: The Joint Operations Command announced the launch of the seventh phase of Operation Swords of Truth. The Security Media Cell stated in a statement, " units from the Salah al-Din Operations Command, Kirkuk, western Nineveh, Anbar, eastern Salah al-Din and Diyala, participated in the operation according to accurate intelligence information with the support of the Air Force and Army Aviation." The statement added, "This operation comes in accordance with the vision and strategy of the Command to pursue the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs and maintain pressure on its defeated elements, within the offensive approach carried out by our security forces in various areas of responsibility and prevent the enemy from being present and reaching geographically complex areas." The statement continued, "Thanks be to God and praise be to Him, this operation has achieved fruitful results after a number of terrorist dens were destroyed and a quantity of explosive devices and logistical materials were seized."
