Two young Palestinians were assaulted and injured this evening by Israeli occupation forces as they raided the archeological area in the town of Carmel, to the south of Hebron, and various areas in the neighboring Masafer Yatta region, according to local sources. The sources reported that Israeli occupation forces stormed the historic Carmel area, south of Hebron, firing live ammunition in the vicinity of homes. The soldiers conducted search raids in the fields surrounding the area and detained several young men, subjecting them to physical assault and verbal abuse. During the violent incident, two young men, Mustafa and Mufid Al-Daajneh, sustained injuries and bruises.
