Israeli Shelling in Central Gaza Results in Deaths of Four Palestinians.

Gaza: Four Palestinians were killed, including an elderly woman, and several others were injured on Monday due to Israeli shelling in the Nuseirat camp located in the central Gaza Strip. The attack resulted in significant casualties and damage across the area. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that Israeli occupation artillery unleashed heavy shelling on the west of the Nuseirat camp. This assault resulted in the death of an elderly woman. Additionally, Israeli warplanes targeted the tents of displaced individuals in the Al-Sawarah area, west of Nuseirat camp, leading to the deaths of three more citizens and injuring others. The report further highlighted that drones conducted heavy firing at civilian homes in the Mufti land and the outskirts of Camp 5, situated north of Nuseirat. Moreover, occupation vehicles were reported to have opened fire in the Al-Fakhoura area, part of the Beit Lahia project in the northern region of Gaza. The artillery also targeted th e Al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, adding to the chaos and destruction. In a preliminary toll provided, the total number of Palestinians killed since the onset of the aggression on October 7, 2023, stands at approximately 4,360. Additionally, 102,929 individuals have been wounded, the majority of whom are women and children. Many victims remain trapped under rubble and on roads, inaccessible to rescue teams due to ongoing hostilities.
