UMM AL-FAHM: Colonial Israeli settlers last night assaulted a Palestinian citizen while he was near the city of Umm al-Fahm, in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1948, according to medical and local sources. Medical sources at Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin, north of the occupied West Bank, said colonialists attacked the young man Ihsan Saabna, a resident of the village of Fahma, south of Jenin, leading him to sustain a broken thumb and bruises on his hand. Saabna was later transferred to a nearby hospital for medical treatment in the town of Barta'a. His medical condition was described as stable. Saabneh told WAFA that he was beaten up and assaulted by Israeli settlers while he was standing on the main street near Umm al-Fahm waiting for a bus.
