Five people were killed in an Israeli occupation airstrike on Nabatieh City in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, the Lebanese Ministry of Health's Public Health Emergency Operations Center (PHEOC) announced. In a statement, the PHEOC reported that the initial toll from the airstrike, which targeted the Nabatieh Municipality and its buildings, resulted in five fatalities, with rescue efforts to remove rubble still ongoing. Lebanon's National News Agency reported that Israeli occupation warplanes carried out an aerial assault on Nabatieh, and launching more than seven strikes on the neighborhoods of Al-Deir, Al-Aqida, and Al-Ruwais. Since September 23, Lebanon has been subject to intense airstrikes by the Israeli occupation forces, causing significant human and material losses and displacing hundreds of thousands of innocents.
