Israeli warplanes and artillery Saturday attacked towns in southern Lebanon, targeting houses and infrastructure. Lebanese security officials reported that Israeli warplanes attacked the towns of Markaba, Adaisseh and its surroundings, noting that an Israeli drone dropped incendiary bombs on the forests of the villages of Naqoura and Adaisseh, causing fires. The town of Yahmar al-Shaqif and the riverbed on the southern outskirts were also subject to artillery shelling, leading to an outbreak of fires that extended to the outskirts of residential buildings.
