Israeli Forces Evacuate Families from Jenin Neighborhoods

Jenin: Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening ordered Palestinian families to evacuate their homes in two neighborhoods within the city and refugee camp of Jenin, located in the occupied West Bank.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the forces coerced families to leave their homes in the Al-Hadaf neighborhood just before Iftar, the evening meal during Ramadan. Some families were given a deadline of 7:30 PM to vacate their homes in the same area. Concurrently, Israeli forces conducted a raid in Silat al-Harithiya, a town south of Jenin, deploying military vehicles on patrol; however, no detentions were reported during the operation.

Israel, which acts as the occupying power in the region, has been carrying out an aggressive campaign against the city and refugee camp of Jenin for the past 49 days. This ongoing operation has resulted in the deaths of 30 Palestinians, left dozens injured, and led to the detention of numerous individuals.
