Israeli forces raid Jenin, damage infrastructure

JENIN: Israeli occupation forces Thursday dawn broke into the city of Jenin and the outskirts of its camp, and launched an arrest campaign amid widespread destruction of infrastructure. The occupation forces, supported by more than 30 military vehicles and bulldozers, stormed the city and the outskirts of the camp, from Jenin-Nazareth Street, Haifa Street, and Nablus Street, and deployed in Al-Zahraa neighborhood, Al-Dakhiliya roundabout, the Eastern neighborhood, Al-Bayader area, Jabal Abu Dhahir, and Al-Marah neighborhood amid heavy firing of bullets, poison gas bombs and smoke bombs. These forces launched a massive campaign of raids on Palestinian citizens' homes in the city and its camp, and turned a number of them into military points. Security sources told WAFA that the occupation forces launched a massive arrest campaign in Jenin, especially in the eastern neighborhood and Al-Marah. The occupation vehicles bulldozed a number of streets and destroyed citizens' vehicles in Jenin, especially in the Ea stern Neighborhood, Al-Bayader, Schools Street, Jenin Hospital Street, the Target area, the main roundabout, and the cinema roundabout, amid the outbreak of violent confrontations. It is noteworthy that the occupation forces launched more than 35 incursions into the city of Jenin and its camp since the start of their comprehensive aggression against Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on the 7th of last October.
