Dr. Hamoud Abad, the Capital Secretary, inspected this evening the progress of works, cleanliness, traffic, restoration, gardens and lighting in Sabeen Square as part of the preparations to commemorate the Prophet's Birthday anniversary. Abad, along with the Executive Director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, Mohammed Sharafuddin, the Director of Public Parks, Samir Hamza, the Traffic Department, Colonel Najeeb Al-Asadi and his deputy, Colonel Hussein Al-Manhi, and the Director of Markets and Utilities, Zakir Al-Amiri, reviewed the works of equipment in the service aspects in Al-Sabeen Square, which are carried out by the executive and service offices. They also reviewed the work of installing green decorations, improving and rehabilitating Al Sabeen Park , its facilities , places adjacent to the square and preparing them to receive crowds for the central event to celebrate the Prophet Muhammad's birth anniversary . They listened to an explanation of the work carried out by the field team to fill p otholes with concrete blocks in streets affected by floods and rainwater as an emergency treatment to limit the expansion of potholes. Director of the Urban Improvement Department Mohamed Al-Bashiri pointed to the work carried out, which included filling potholes in a number of targeted streets in a number of directorates. He pointed out that the work aims to fill the potholes with 120 cubic meters of ready-made concrete formwork according to the daily work program until 12 Rabiul Awwal. The Capital Secretary stressed on intensifying efforts and preparing well for this great religious occasion, and showing the capital in a manner befitting the greatness and status of the Greatest Prophet in the hearts of Yemenis and the strength of their attachment to their Holy Prophet.
