Israeli occupation forces Sunday evening kicked Palestinian olive harvesters out of their lands in the village of Madama, located south of Nablus, and assaulted them with tear gas canisters. Head of Madma village council, Abdullah Ziada, stated that Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters at olive harvesters, driving them out from their fields. Villages and towns in Nablus have been facing ongoing violations by the occupation forces and colonists, particularly against olive harvesters. Palestinian farmers are often subjected to harassment and attacks by Israeli colonists during the harvest season, including the destruction, damage, and burning of olive trees. The olive harvest season is one of the most important seasons for thousands of Palestinian families, many of whom make their living from this harvest.
