HEBRON: Five Palestinian civilians, including a woman, were injured by live ammunition this afternoon during an Israeli military raid on the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron. Mohammed Awad, a local activist, reported that Israeli forces stormed the town and opened fire on civilians, resulting in a woman sustaining shrapnel injuries to her hand and four young men being wounded in their lower limbs. They were subsequently rushed to the hospital for treatment. Additionally, dozens suffered from suffocation due to inhaling tear gas fired by the Israeli troops, and they received field treatment on-site. Awad reported that Israeli soldiers also raided several areas within the town, threw sound grenades towards residents inside a mourning house, and conducted rooftop searches on several homes.
