Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces Wednesday evening detained an injured Palestinian youth from the village of Deir Qaddis, west of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to security and local sources. They reported that the occupation forces sealed off all the entrances of the village before the heavily armed soldiers barged their way into it. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in the course of the raid, the soldiers broke into a clinic and rounded up an injured young man, who remained unidentified, before withdrawing. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) stated that the soldiers denied its paramedics access to the village, briefly held them, and seized their mobile phones. This incident occurred as convoys of army vehicles conducted raids into the cluster of Palestinian villages located to the west of Ramallah, including Ni'lin, Kharbatha al-Misbah, Ras Karkar, Kafr Ni'ma, and the Ayn Ayoub. The roads leading to these villages were closed by checkpoints. The ra ids followed an alleged ramming attack near the Modiin Ilit colony and the village of Deir Qaddis, which reportedly resulted in light injuries to two Israeli soldiers.
