SALFIT: Israeli colonists today attacked Palestinian-owned vehicle in the the town of Kafr al-Dik, west of Salfit. Sources said that a group of armed colonist sneaked their way into the town and attacked a vehicle owned by a local resident while he was passing near the town of Deir Istiya. Neither damage nor casualties were reported though. Colonist violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. Colonist violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
