JORDAN VALLEY: The Israeli occupation forces issued orders on Monday evening to halt construction on residential and livestock facilities in Hammamat al-Maleh, located in the northern Jordan Valley. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the head of the al-Maleh village council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, confirmed that the orders require the cessation of work on 11 facilities. These facilities belong to the siblings Tariq and Ali Hamid Kaabneh. The halt is effective until the fourth of next month, impacting both residential and agricultural developments in the region. The Jordan Valley has been a focal point of contention, with various construction projects often facing interruptions due to regional disputes. The recent orders to stop construction reflect ongoing tensions and the complex nature of land and development in this area. The implications of these orders resonate with the local community, posing challenges for those who rely on these facilities for their livelihood.
