The death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon since October 2023 has risen to 2,229, with 10,380 people injured. Over the past 24 hours, 57 airstrikes were recorded, bringing the total number of Israeli assaults since the start of the aggression to 9,588, according to a statement released Friday by the Lebanese Government Emergency Committee. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that 60 people were killed and 168 injured in Israeli airstrikes within the last 24 hours. Additionally, 1,032 centers have been opened to accommodate displaced individuals, with 837 centers now at full capacity. The total number of registered displaced people has reached 187,000, according to lists from the national operations room. Lebanon has been under Israeli attack since October 2023, but in recent days, Israel has significantly escalated its air and artillery strikes, extending its targets to include the capital, Beirut.
