Beirut, The Israeli offensive against Lebanon cannot be tolerated and violating the Lebanese airspace is unacceptable, Prime Minister of Lebanon's Caretaker Government, Najib Mikati stressed on Monday. Addressing a consultative meeting with the ministers, Mikati pointed out that Israel is dragging the region into the war and the international community must be alerted about this matter to put an end to this war. Lebanon has repeatedly stressed that it is not a warmonger, because the Israeli assaults cannot be tolerated, and Lebanon cannot afford to see its airspace being breached, Mikati added, indicating that these attacks are brought to the attention of the international community and Lebanon has been submitting complaints to the UN Security Council accordingly, Regarding the internal affair, Mikati called for electing a president of the country at the earliest and completing the establishment of institutions and the necessity of getting out of the impasse which affects all components of the state and nat ional stability.
