GAZA: Israeli occupation forces today released 71 Palestinians from Gaza Strip, including 19 female detainees, through Karm Abu Salem/Kerem Shalom crossing. The occupation still refused, to this day, to disclose the number of detainees held in their custody from Gaza, and continued in carrying out the crime of enforced disappearance against them. The Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) said that the number of Palestinian detainees held in Israeli jails from the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem has reached around 8,800, including more than 3,290 in administrative detention. Around 661 of the Gaza detainees were classified as 'unlawful combatants,' PPS added. Source:Palestine news & Information Agency – WAFA
