Gaza: Israeli occupation authorities released 13 Palestinian detainees from the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, according to WAFA correspondent. The detainees were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah after their release through the Kissufim checkpoint.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, medical sources indicated that the health conditions of the released detainees are severe. The detainees have reportedly faced arbitrary measures imposed by the Israeli Prison Service, contributing to their poor health.
Since the onset of the ongoing conflict, Israel has sporadically released groups of Palestinians detained during its military operations in Gaza.
