Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah received on Sunday Iraqi Minister of Interior Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Kamel Al-Shammari and his accompanying delegation at the Kuwait International Airport. The visit aims to discuss enhancing security relations and implementing the memorandum of understanding and security cooperation inked between Kuwait and Iraq, especially in exchanging information and expertise, the Interior Ministry said in a press statement. The Iraqi guest was also received by Iraqi Ambassador to Kuwait Al-Manhal Al-Safi and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior of Kuwait Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Sabah and a number of senior security leaders.
