TUBAS: A young Palestinian man was left to bleed to death following an alleged shooting attack in the northern Jordan Valley, according to security sources. Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces opened fire at a young man in the Atouf plain, south of the city of Tubas, after he allegedly carried out a shooting attack against the Beka'ot colony, built illegally on Palestinian residents' land in the northern Jordan Valley. The youth was identified as Rabei Mohammad Daraghmeh. The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the Israeli forces prevented its crew from providing medical aid to the injured youth, attacked the crew members and seized their cell phones. Israeli forces deployed their troops in the Atouf Plain and farmlands in the aftermath of the alleged shooting attack. Forces also raided and searched several homes in the village of Atouf and desecrated a mosque there under the pretext of inspecting the surveillance cameras. The killing of Daraghmeh brings the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank in the last 24 hours to 13. This brings the death toll in the West Bank since the start of Israel's all-out aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023, to 616, including 144 children. In addition, more than 5400 others have been injured. Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA
