The official spokesman for the Iraqi government, Bassem Al-Awadi, said today, Saturday, in a statement: 'Nine months after the start of the war on Gaza, the massacres of the sinful aggression continue, the latest of which is the massacres that claimed the lives of dozens of innocent children and women in Al-Shati Camp, Tal Al-Hawa and Al-Sina'a neighborhoods in Gaza City, and Al-Mawasi area near Khan Yunis and the rest of Rafah, in addition to the continued raids targeting Palestinians, their homes, and their neighborhoods that have endured pain, siege, and racial discrimination for years.' He added: 'What the criminal Netanyahu government is committing did not stop at breaking international laws and regulations, but it went beyond turning a deaf ear to every human voice, in a provocative abuse of all the tasks and calls of international organizations, and peace efforts around the world, and in an attempt to disrupt all concepts of international law.' added 'This will effectively destabilize the security of the region and spread the conflict beyond its borders.' He continued: "In the face of these dangerous developments, we renew our demand on the international community and major powers to assume their responsibility regarding the continuation of this blatant aggression by this entity, which sees itself as higher than international law and the provisions of international justice." He concluded by saying: 'Iraq also calls on these countries to grant the Palestinian people's right to life, and to put an end to the aggression that has become a dangerous precedent in human history, in addition to the necessity of immediate action to save our people from famine, systematic killing, and attempts to push them to leave their land, and to deliver the necessary aid, treatment supplies, food, medicine and humanitarian needs.
