The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested five Palestinian civilians today, including a father and two of his sons, and assaulted three paramedics in Al-Khalil Governorate, south of the West Bank. Wafa news agency reported that the IOF raided Al-Khalil City and arrested a Palestinian father along with his two sons claiming that Muhammad - one of the man's sons, carried out a shooting operation in the city of Yafa on the occupied Palestinian territories. The soldiers also searched the victims' home, wreaked their belongings, and severely beat them, Wafa added. Sources indicated that the IOF conducted two separate raids in the town of Halhul, north of Al-Khalil, and arrested two civilians, after which the soldiers took the victims to an unknown destination. The IOF also severely beat the ambulance crew, causing them to suffer bruises, the sources noted, adding that the IOF stormed the town of Al-Samu, south of Al-Khalil and searched the homes of many civilians. The IOF set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Al-Khalil, its towns, villages, and camps, and closed a number of main and secondary roads with iron gates, cement blocks, and earthen mounds.
