The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested since Monday evening until today morning at least 15 Palestinian civilians in the West Bank, including children and freed captives. In a joint statement, Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) reported that most of the arrests took place in Ramallah, while the rest of them occurred across the governorates of Bethlehem, Qalqilya, Nablus and Tulkarm. Since the beginning of Israel's ongoing genocide on the Gaza Strip, the number of detainees in the West Bank has reached more than 9,870 civilians, the statement added, pointing out that these arrests included those who were arrested from homes or through military checkpoints, as well as those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage. The IOF continues to carry out widespread acts of abuse and sabotage, accompanied by attacks and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to vandalism and destru ction of Palestinian citizens' homes.
