The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested, in the past 24 hours, at least 14 Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank, including a freed captive. In a joint statement, Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) said that most of the arrests took place across the governorates of Al-Khalil, Ramallah, Nablus and Tulkarm, adding that the arrests were accompanied by threats, attacks and assault against the detainees and their families, in addition to destruction and vandalism to Palestinians' homes. The IOF arrested more than 10,000 Palestinian civilians in the West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's ongoing genocide and relentless aggression on the Gaza Strip, the statement added. The IOF continues to implement systematic arrests, as one of its most prominent established policies, which escalated in an unprecedented manner after October 2023, not only in terms of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes committed.
