The Undersecretary of Al Mahwit Province, Yahya Al Dhaheri, and the representative of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in the province, Engineer Mukhtar Al Turki, inspected the on Friday work progress on Al Maghriba Road project in Al Khabt District, which is being implemented through a community initiative and with the support of the Central Emergency Interventions Unit at Finance Ministry. Al Dhaheri and Al Turki were briefed on the survey and expansion work of the road that serves more than 10,000 people, the construction of a protective wall on both sides of the road, concrete paving for some paths, and a flood channel. They praised the efforts made by the people of the directorate in implementing community initiatives to alleviate the suffering of citizens, especially in the field of roads.. pointing out that these initiatives are among the priorities of the governorate's plans and programs aimed at moving the wheel of development and providing services to citizens. They stressed t he importance of strengthening the partnership between the local authority and the community in the field of development by expanding the implementation community initiative projects in various fields.
