Rapid Response Squad forces arrested 3 people wanted for drug trafficking in Karbala and Maysan. The command stated in a statement that a force from the Fourth Rapid Response Brigade arrested two defendants against whom arrest warrants had been issued in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of drugs, in cooperation with the Directorate of Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in Maysan and in coordination with Rapid Response Intelligence. It added that in Karbala, a force from the Fifth Rapid Response Brigade arrested one of those wanted by the judiciary in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of drugs in Al-Khairat district, and seized an unlicensed weapon in his possession. The arrest operation came in cooperation with the Directorate of Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances in the governorate and in coordination with Rapid Response Intelligence, the wanted persons and the seized items were duly handed over to the requesting party.
