Security forces freed a child who was kidnapped by people who were hired by his parents in Babylon. The Spokesman for the Interior Ministry and the Security Media Cell, Brigadier General Muqdad Miri, said in a statement: "The detachments of the Babylon Police Command were able to free a kidnapped child and arrest the kidnappers in the Al-Mahnawiyah area." He explained that: "Through the initial investigations, it became clear that the father and mother of the child hired the kidnappers for the purpose of accusing others, including former enemies, and the arrest came after investigation, gathering information and obtaining the necessary judicial approvals."
