Colonists Destroy Nature Reserve in Kisan Village East of Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Colonists on Tuesday destroyed a nature reserve in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, according to a local official. Ahmed Ghazal, secretary of the Fatah movement in Kisan, reported the incident to WAFA, stating that a group of colonists stormed the Kisan wilderness and caused significant damage to the reserve.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the reserve, which covers an area of 100 dunums, suffered the destruction of barracks, trees, surveillance cameras, water pools, and wells. The colonists also seized solar panels and electric generators that belonged to a local resident.

The incident is part of a pattern of escalating attacks by colonists on residents and their property in Kisan. Recently, there have been reports of several homes being burned in the Deir Alla area, leading to the forced displacement of their owners.
