Baghdad, The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Tuesday, the seizure of a factory for illegally recycling oils and oil waste east of Baghdad. The ministry said in a statement: "The detachments of the Fourth Brigade of the Energy Police, in coordination with the National Security Service, the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency, the Federal Police Forces Command, and the Inspection Authority of the Oil Products Distribution Company, were able to seize a factory used for illegally recycling oils and oil waste in Kargoulia area east of the capital, Baghdad." The operation resulted, according to the statement, in finding an iron fuel tank containing an unknown-quality oil product estimated at about (54,000) liters and other various materials. The necessary legal measures were taken in preparation for organizing the case papers and presenting them to the competent investigative judge in accordance with the Anti-Smuggling of Oil and Its Derivatives Law No. (41) of (2008).
