Head of Writers’ Committee: We have been monitoring interactive poems since beginning of flood & will publish them in collection ‘You Are Not Alone’

The General Book Authority intends to issue a multi-volume collection of poems called 'You Are Not Alone,' dedicated to Yemeni poetry interacting with the Palestinian issue since the beginning of Operation (Al-Aqsa Flood). The Chairman of the Commission, Abdul Rahman Murad, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that commitment came as an expression and support for our conviction in the Yemeni people, government and leadership in the just Palestinian cause, and as a continuation of our ongoing efforts in highlighting the role of poetry and poets in Yemen in embodying Yemen's positions in defending the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. He explained: We were astonished by the volume of interaction and the quality of expression of the national, religious and humanitarian feelings that simmered in the souls of Yemen's poets towards their central cause, which came as a sincere expression of what is going on in people's souls of the Arab and Islamic nation, and in the souls of all honorable people and people of good conscience everywhere towards what is happening in Gaza is suffering from atrocities, a war of genocide and ethnic cleansing without mercy or scruples of principle or conscience. He said: That documentation included in the collection 'You Are Not Alone' will make the poets' testimony immortal and not erased by time. It is a testimony to the arrogance and tyranny of the capitalist system over the people, as well as the Zionist system over the people of Palestine. Source: Yemen News Agency
