German tennis player Angelique Kerber (Former world number one) announces retirement after completing her participation in the Paris 2024 Olympics. "I can definitely say that I will not forget Paris 2024, because it will be my last professional tournament as a tennis player," the 36-year-old Kerber said in a statement. The German tennis player has returned to competition this year after an 18-month hiatus, but was unable to get back to her previous level and regain momentum.
