Gaza Death Toll from Israel’s Offensive Surpasses 68,643


Gaza: Medical sources announced on Wednesday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 68,643, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023.



According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, the number of injuries has risen to 170,655 since the start of the offensive. A number of victims remain trapped under the rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue teams.



The medical sources indicated that 104 slain people, including 46 children and 40 women, and 253 wounded others, including 78 children and 84 women, were taken to Gaza Strip hospitals.



Meanwhile, the total number of fatalities and wounded since the ceasefire agreement on October 11 has reached 211, while 597 others were wounded, with 482 bodies recovered.
