The English newspaper Daily Mail revealed that former Arsenal player Jay Emmanuel Thomas has been charged with importing drugs. The newspaper added that British Border Force officials found several bags containing a large amount of drugs in the possession of Jay Emmanuel Thomas, the striker player, on a flight from Bangkok, Thailand on September 2. The newspaper added that the drugs, worth £600,000, were confiscated at Stansted Airport in England, and the player's position and the extent of his involvement in the incident have not yet been determined.
