Amman: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates summoned the Dutch ambassador in Amman to the ministry's headquarters this evening, in order to convey a strongly worded message of protest to his government. The move came following remarks made by right-wing Dutch extremist Geert Wilders, which are in line with the condemning resolution issued by the Israeli Knesset yesterday, which aims to deny the right of the people in his independent and sovereign state over his native land, represent a discriminatory stance that considers settling the Palestinian conflict at Jordan's expense. The ministry's spokesperson, Ambassador Sufian Qudah, said that the Dutch ambassador in Amman has been notified of a protest letter that should be forwarded right away to his government. The letter demands that the Dutch government take a stance that is categorically opposed to these remarks, which run counter to the friendly and respectful relations between the two nations. The provocative remarks made by this racist lawma ker, according to Ambassador Qudah, are worthless and have no legal bearing. They also violate international law and expose a racist hatred culture that needs to be combated. Source: Jordan News Agency
