Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah sent an official letter of protest to the President of the Security Council for July 2024, Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia, and to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres. The message included the military aggression carried out by the Israeli enemy on the territory of the Republic of Yemen, on July 20, 2024, by targeting the port of Hodeida and destroying oil derivatives tanks and the electricity station, which resulted in a number of martyrs and injured civilians.
