Researchers from the University of Tampere in Finland have succeeded in creating a new algorithm to detect changes in heart rate, which in turn may play an important role in predicting the risk of cardiac death. According to the researchers, although millions of people around the world die due to sudden cardiac death, signs of heart disorders remain difficult to detect, which highlights the importance of the researchers findings. The study conducted by the researchers included an analysis of data from 2,794 adults during an average follow-up period of 8.3 years, and scientists came up with a new measure called DFA2 a1 that can detect changes in heart rate over time. Scientists explained that the most interesting result in the study is identifying differences, especially during heart rate measurements during rest periods. The scientists added that the heart rate characteristics of patients at risk during rest are similar to what measurements of a healthy heart are during physical exertion. It is worth not ing that a heart attack occurs when one or more of the coronary arteries is blocked so that the heart cannot obtain a sufficient amount of oxygen-rich blood. If the oxygen in the blood does not reach the heart muscle, the heart is damaged. During the first few minutes, the largest concentration of concerns about the blood supply to the brain, as its supply is greatly reduced, leading to the patient losing consciousness, and then the patient dies unless he receives emergency treatment immediately.
