Caretaker Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah sent a letter to United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres to protest the continued US-British military aggression on Yemen, the latest of which was the targeting of the capital Sana'a and three governorates with 22 air strikes. In his message, Minister Sharaf stressed the illegality of the US-British military aggression against Yemen, which came as punishment for its moral and humanitarian stance in supporting the Palestinian people and resistance in the Gaza Strip and calling for an end to the crimes of genocide against the Palestinian people. He stressed that Sanaa's position is clear and that it is committed to maintaining international peace and security, the safety of maritime navigation and international trade in the Red Sea region and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, with the exception of ships heading to the Israeli enemy, or those heading to the occupied Palestinian ports, as well as ships of the two countries of US-British aggression, and until t he aggression on the Gaza Strip is stopped and humanitarian, food, medicine and fuel aid enters without any obstacles.
