Amman: Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken Sunday discussed efforts to secure a ceasefire in Gaza and deliver aid to the embattled enclave. Safadi and Blinken discussed, in a phone call, the developments in occupied Jerusalem and the "need" to respect the existing historical situation there in the city. Safadi urged an immediate halt to the war in Gaza and warned of the danger of worsening the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the ongoing onslaught. Source: Jordan News Agency
