Capital Sana'a mayor Dr. Hamoud Ubad on Monday conducted an inspection to assess the damage caused by recent torrential rains on 50th St. in Maeen district. Accompanied by head of the Social Affairs Committee Hamoud al-Naqeeb and assistant undersecretaries Sami Sharaf al-Din and Naji al-Qawsi, Dr. Ubad reviewed the extent of the damage and discussed emergency measures with head of the Emergency Operations Room Abdulwahhab Sharaf and district director Abdulmalik al-Radhi. Dr. Ubad instructed the Executive Unit for Road and Public Place Maintenance and the local authority in Maeen district to promptly implement necessary repairs and protect the retaining wall of 50th St. from potential collapse.
