GAZA: Five citizens were injured last night due to Israeli shelling that targeted a tent housing displaced families in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza. In a separate incident, two individuals sustained injuries from an airstrike on a home belonging to the Daloul family in the southwest of Gaza City. Additionally, Israeli helicopters fired on areas in the western part of northern Gaza, while warplanes conducted a strike targeting the western region of Rafah in the south of the enclave. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in at least 42,519 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 99,637 individuals sustaining injuries, the majority of whom are women and children. Thousands are also feared dead under the rubble of destroyed structures across the war-torn enclave, with civil defense teams and emergency services unable to reach several areas due to safety concerns amid the indiscriminate Israeli attacks.
