The project supervisor added that the project agrees with one of the basic provisions of the Al Wakra Initiative to reduce carbon emissions in the city of Al Wakrah, in addition to its support for the 'Al Wakra is Disabled Friendly' initiative, which serves the goals of sustainable development and the Qatar National Vision 2030. Eng. Soha added that the new waterfront promenade's information signs were made using recycled materials and display information in the Braille tactile writing system for the visually impaired, the first of its kind in the region and comes in the framework of the Ministry of M unicipalitys strategy of building sustainable cities and humanizing them.
