The Finance Ministry condemned in the strongest terms the Israeli aggression against the Republic of Yemen by targeting civilian facilities in Hodeida province , resulting in martyrs and wounded civilians. In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry of Finance considered the Israeli aggression a blatant violation of international humanitarian laws , conventions and international humanitarian law, including the four Geneva Conventions and the protocols attached to them, which criminalize targeting vital facilities and civilian objects. The statement indicated that the Israeli aggression, which targeted civilian and service facilities, will not deter the Yemeni people from their principled , steadfast position in supporting the Palestinian people, supporting their just cause, and supporting their valiant resistance. The statement explained that targeting vital infrastructure in Hodeida comes with the aim of causing severe harm to various segments of society and doubling the suffering of the Yemenis, especially in light of the continuation of the American, Saudi, and Emirati aggression for more than nine years. It urged the people of Yemen to further cohesion and align themselves with the revolutionary leadership , the Supreme Political Council in the face of the Israeli, American, and British aggression , to continue the path of mobilization, awareness-raising activities, weekly mass outings, in solidarity with the Palestinians, , denouncing the Zionist, American, and British aggression against our country.
