Event in Shibam Kawkaban Directorate on Imam Zaid martyrdom anniversary in Al Mahwit

The local and executive authority in Shibam Kawkaban District, Al Mahwit Province, organized on Wednesday a speech event on Imam Zaid martyrdom anniversary, peace be upon him, under the slogan "Insight and Jihad". The speeches of the event, which were attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council in the District, Dr. Yahya Abdul Qader, reviewed the injustice suffered by Imam Zaid bin Ali, peace be upon him, by the tyrants of the Umayyads and the betrayal he was subjected to. The speeches touched on the weakness and humiliation suffered by the nation as a result of its deviation from the prophetic path. They stressed that what the Yemeni people are experiencing today in terms of pride, dignity and steadfastness in the aggression face is the result of their following the Noble Prophet directives and their assumption of the banners of guidance. They noted the need for the sons of the homeland to be more aware and insightful as a weapon to confront the Zionist-American enemy, which adopts various met hods to undermine the Islamic nation.
